• Deconstruction is a practice centered around the deliberate unraveling of a piece of fabric, thread by thread. The repetitive action is meditative in nature; it is a vehicle for contemplation, mindful conversation, movement.

  • Each time we open our mouths to speak we engage in the act of translation. Livermore explores this concept through explorations of language acquisition and invention.

  • Livermore explores identity construction and (online) perceptions of self through the character of Astrid Ingerson.

  • Livermore, in collaboration with Amanda Trinkley, asked a friend for the contents of their vacuum cleaner. The duo then created a short film documenting the ephemera called if we are dust.

They have shown the piece in a variety of contexts including Ball State University’s 2014 Eco Summit and a mobile exhibition parked outside of the Harrison Center for a First Friday event.

  • Livermore collaborated with Sibley Barlow and Amanda Trinkley to explore the unknown territory of Dill Street Bar in Muncie, Indiana as the Pioneer Women.

Clavy (Livermore), Ormae (Barlow), and Phoebe (Trinkley), three women with colorful back stories, banded together to journey west. Much to their surprise, the miles turned to years and by the time that they reached Muncie, Indiana it was 2014!
