Charles Joy Livermore (they/he) is an interdisciplinary artist and researcher located in Chicago, Illinois. They study the embodied implications of rhetorical and ideological commitments through the lens of their religious upbringing and the queer spaces they now inhabit. Livermore is writing a book-- a memoir, artist book, collection of poems; that interrogates a moment of linguistic destabilization that allowed them to acquire new vocabularies to describe their identity and the world around them.
